R.M.Williams is an Australian footwear and clothing company. In its nine decades of existence, R.M.Williams has become one of the best-known - and best-loved - footwear brands in the world.
Challenge
R.M.Williams faced challenges with consistent out-of-stocks with their previous supplier and limited storage space in the distribution centre added operational complexities.
Solution
PaperPak created a customer website portal for all R.M.Williams stores to streamline the ordering process. This allowed individual stores to order bags through the online portal at their own convenience, eliminating administrative tasks at corporate level.
Results
Established an online portal function for RM Williams stores to manage orders efficiently.
Maintained optimal stock levels with a 6-week holding capacity in the PaperPak distribution centre.
Our business relationship with PaperPak began in 2022 when they were tasked with supplying some unbranded bags for our stores. From then on, we worked together to ensure our stores were supplied with our new first quality designed bags at any point in time during the year. PaperPak has facilitated the process efficiently and managed to halve the delivery time from order to receipt of bags.
