Production

Why is working directly with the manufacturer of products, like PaperPak, important?

Many packaging suppliers source all their products from third party manufactures. This means suppliers of packaging have no control over the sustainability practices of the manufacturer and often cannot share detailed reports such as carbon reduction, waste diversion or standard compliance certifications.

Here are some reasons why you can be sure PaperPak uses sustainable manufacturing.

Owning and operating all its manufacturing facilities, PaperPak set clear sustainability targets such as waste diversion, carbon disclosure and ethical trading.

PaperPak make available evidence of all certifications including but not limited to certifications such as:
ISO14001
BRCGS
SMETA

If Paperpak does source product from 3rd party manufacturers, these suppliers are subject to regular audits. Key Suppliers are audited annually in person, guaranteeing all tree fibre materials are from responsibly managed, sustainable sources, which contain no illegal, controversial or old-growth fibre.
